        Why is this a priority?

        Adams County invests significant resources in infrastructure for the benefit of the community including road, bridges, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, parks, storm-water mitigation, drainage, information technologies and county buildings. This infrastructure is necessary to strengthen community transportation networks, ensure amenity and public information access, and to provide physical locations to conduct county business. One of our vital goals is to invest public funds in infrastructure that is safe, reliable and improves the quality of life for our community.

        How do we measure it?

        We measure budgeted capital investment in infrastructure made by the County in the following categories: Land, Land Improvements, Buildings, Concrete, Trails, Drainage, Water, Sewer, Systems Improvements Other Than Buildings, Other Trails, Pedestrian Bridges, Road & Streets, Art Collections, Communication Equipment and Computer Equipment Software.

      Data Governance

      describes the quality of the data itself. Governance issues generally indicate that the data source is considered incomplete or unreliable.

      Model Health

      describes the quality of the predictive model. If the model health is poor, the trend prediction should not be trusted.
